The ASL Proximity Sensor with Mono Port, model ASL204-M, is a sensor switch designed for use by individuals with upper extremity disabilities. This "no touch" switch can be used with ASL proportional driver controls with power wheelchairs or for non driving purposes such as computer control. This single function switch has an activation range of touch to half inch. Activation occurs when it senses a hand or another part of the body in the activation area. This switch is intended to be used through very thin surfaces. It can be used with all power chair types. Power chair use requires the additional of an appropriate ASL 804 power source cable to receive power from the power wheelchair. The proximity comes with a mono port connector and a 12- or 24-volt power connector. OPTIONS: Armrest switch mounting bracket.
